I am LOVING this! I do have a question. I went to the tut and noticed she didn't put anything over the gumdrops themselves. How does one keep pests from getting into this stuff? I live in the deep south and fight constantly against ants. I wouldn't want new pests coming inside! Is there anything I could spray or "paint" over the gumdrops to seal them? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I love the pomander! It's just so cheerful. Like Lee Ann, I wonder if there's a lacquer of some sort that can be used on gumdrops?
You can buy a clear matte finishing spray (in a spray paint can) that will work. If you check out the gumdrop wreath he uses it in her tutorial.
This is the cutest idea, ever! I would love for you to share it at my "Anything Goes" Linky party...
