Tissue Paper Petal Lanterns from The Crafts Department

Back in November I shared these beautiful doily lanterns that I fell in love with:

Then in May the people at The Crafts Dept. used tissue paper circles to create these tissue paper petal lanterns:

They look like artichokes to me.  Pretty, colorful artichokes.

And now I have found them made with old book pages too over at Sassy Style Interior Design:

Now you have a fun way to layer just about any interesting paper to create these fun lanterns.
