Creamy Jalepaño Dip from Ruth
It is almost a crime to live in Texas and not love TexMex. I have to say it is growing on me a little, but mostly because if you smother anything in enough creamy jelapeño dip it is going to taste good. Chuy's is a popular TexMex restaurant here and I am now on a mission to try to duplicate their dip.
I am going to start with a recipe from Tasty Kitchen.
Wish me luck!
And if you have already solved this mystery and know of a great recipe, please save me from my search and leave me a link in the comments or shoot me an email. We will all be very thankful!

I could eat that with a spoon right here right now I think!
It is SO good! Have you ever had any?
I've never had it, but it sounds really good! I'd love to know how it turns out!

I am in avid Chuys-goer and have been trying to recreate the recipe for years... with no luck! I am excited to know if this is "the one"!
We used to live in Austin (just moved to the Midwest a little over a year ago) and I have a GREAT recipe for Creamy Jalepeno! I will send you an e-mail with the recipe. :)
So, what was the verdict? Here in San Diego, there is a Mex restaurant called Miguel's that has a delicious creamy Jalapeno sauce. It's so good, they started selling it at a local grocery store. I just bought it for our Mother's Day taco bar. I'll have to try this one and compare.
Delish! I love, love, love Chuy's Creamy Jalepeno. :D
