Makeshift Bolster Pillows from Home and Harmony
Right now we are trying to decide between bunk beds and trundle beds for the girls room. I have been looking at a lot of images online to try to decide what we want to do, and with four little girls and a beautiful home, Home and Harmony is a great place to look for inspiration.
She recently put two of her girls in a bunk bed and, because of the ladder, could no longer hang their quilts over the foot of their bed. Her solution? She turned them into makeshift bolster pillows.
And even if you don't have bunk beds, it is a great way to repurpose an old quilt that you might not use anymore, or keep using one that has a tear that could easily be hidden this way.
You can see how she transformed the quilt HERE and also check out how she used a standard pillow and some rope instead of buying a bolster pillow.
And if you don't have an old quilt and just want a good tutorial for sewing a bolster pillow from scratch, you can check out this tutorial from Sew4Home,
