Decorating with Branches

Framed Branches from A Wood Railing

House Tweaking has a great post with lots of ideas on how to use branches in your home decorating.  My favorite idea she shared are these framed laurel branches.  This piece is actually intended to be a wood railing, but would look great hung as a piece of art instead.

Another idea that I loved was using them to display and organize jewelry like this piece from RianRae.   often see ideas for hanging holiday decorations on tree branches, but never jewelry that I can remember.

And a single branch can make quite a splash when you paint it a great color like this one in Melissa's house that was featured over at Apartment Therapy:

Dana has collected even more great ideas and you can see them all HERE.

I love decorating with branches :)

I have 3 large ones that fill the small wall the family office desk sits against. everyone comments on it when they come over

I love the idea of decorating with branches! I have antlers on one of my side tables, but have yet to go the branch route... maybe someday!

wow! thanks so much for sharing my work. I just posted a thank you note on my page along with a queen size headboard made to look like mountain laurel handrail.
