Sunday Dinner Guest: Crafty Cierra

I want to start featuring some bloggers as my Sunday "Dinner" Guests (guest bloggers) each week!

My first Sunday Guest is Cierra.  I am so excited to have her share her fun tutorial with us!

Hey everyone! My name is Cierra from Crafty Cierra. I am so excited to be here today!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself...I love to create things, try new recipes, & plan parties, which is what my blog is all about! I love to share my ideas with others, in hopes that they may be inspired by them, as I have by all of your amazing blogs!

I do a Wild Wednesday Party every week, along with a feature. I pick someone from the party to feature the following week! So be sure to link up!

Today I want to share a tutorial with you on how to make a Tic-Tac-Toe Board. I needed to come up with an idea for Christmas presents for my kids, nieces & nephews, and I think this will be a big hit!

ITEMS NEEDED: 1 yard of material in 3 different fabrics, a spool of ribbon, rice or other filling.

COST: I spent $5 in material & ribbon. Already had the rice.

Bean bags:

1. Cut a 4 inch square out of cardboard to use as a pattern for the bean bags.

2. Use the pattern to cut out 9 squares in 2 different colors.

3. Take one square of each color, with wrong sides together, sew 3 of the sides shut.

4. Fill with rice.

5. Sew shut the 4th side & trim edges.

Board:

1. Cut out a 15 inch square in 2 different materials.

2. Cut 4, 15 inch strips of ribbon.

3. Pin the ribbon on to the material you are using as your top piece.

4. Sew the ribbon into place.

5. Pin the 15 inch square pieces wrong sides together.

6. Sew the pieces together & trim the edges.

Super easy right? You & your kids will have a lot of fun playing with this! And it makes an awesome gift with Christmas right around the corner! If you would like to buy one already made, you can purchase them in my Etsy shop. They also come with a bag to store everything.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure to visit my blog for more fun ideas & tutorials!

Happy Crafting!
Cierra
