Glow in the Dark Food

Our Best Bites just brought my Halloween party expectations to the next level.  I am going to need food that glows in the dark:

When I first saw this I was scared.  REALLY scared.  I didn't think I wanted to cook with anything that would glow in the dark!  But it is tonic water!!  I guess it has quinine,  and quinine glows under a black light:

So now I need to find a black light so that I can make glow in the dark ice:

I can't not warn your readers. Quinine has some not so fun side effects. Tinnitus being a major one.

I saw this on their site too. Looks like fun! Not a tonic fan, but in a small dose I think I can manage.

here's a weird question... does it make poop glow in the dark too? YUCK! haha!

I saw a video on youtube that was similar. It was a science project and it was non-toxic. It involved yellow highlighters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKhBXsbASPg&p=6D1DF3EC2D152460&playnext=1&index=31 Make sure the highlighter is non-toxic. It just means it is a natural florescence.

This is freaking awesome, and I totally planned my annual Halloween bash around it. In the end we didn't have much time to plan so it was just ice and drinks (and LOTS of people) that glowed, but so neat!
And blogged about it of course :)
