Back To School Organization

I am trying to figure out where in my house I can use this idea that I saw on I Am An Organizing Junkie:

I need a couple of hooks for backpacks in mine, but I love the three baskets stowed under the bench.  I think I need those to toss all the items that belong to my three kiddos that get left upstairs.  Right now I use laundry baskets and those just aren't cute!  And if the kids are at school when I am picking up I can hide these until the get home.  That is if I find a spot and a bench!

That looks like a really great idea, but I need to find a place for it too.

This makes me so happy! Everything has a home!! I'd have to do a smaller scale, but I'm taking some ideas! Great ideas...

I use my refrigerator for organization. I have a large desk calendar on one side. I attached heavy duty magnets to it. I tried a dry erase, but I needed someplace to keep all the info, not just that month. On the other side of my fridge I attached magnets to heavy duty folders (made into pockets with some cute tape) and put the kid's names on them. That is where all their important but don't want sitting on my counter papers go. It works like a dream. Although, during the school year my fridge doesn't look as pretty as I'd like, it is the center of our organization!
