But it isn't a cake at all! They are sugar cookie bars. YUM! I won't be making it today, but I can replace the stars and stripes with some summer colored fruit (mandarin oranges, kiwi, raspberries) and will be making it for Sunday dessert soon!

Sugar Cookie Bars
Imperfectly Beautiful made (and tasted) what I thought was a cute flag cake:
