Red, White, and Blue Wreath

I love this paper wreath from The Woman Who Couldn't Sit Still:

The paper cones are fun, but what I love the most is the flag effect.  The top left corner is blue and white,
the rest is red and white stripes.  I think this would be really fun with ribbon too.  Like this:


but with the whole red, white, and blue flag effect.

But of course, the paper is something I would let the kids help with.  These would be really fun to make smaller to sit on paper plates at a 4th of July picnic too!
