I love window boxes. I have never had one on any of the houses I have lived in (mostly because I always lived in Arizona and there wasn't much you could grow there that didn't want to die in the 115 degree weather.
And now that I am in Texas where pretty things do grow, I don't have any windows that are really window box ready. But Carolyn from My Backyard Eden solved that problem for me:
She used an old window to make one where there wasn't and added a flower box! A great way to get that window box right where you want it.
I just think it needs some shutters.

Very cute! Loves it!!
Hey there,
Thanks for showing off my window box! Shutters are a great idea.
Have a great week,
Carolyn
OOhh, Neato! How about something else instead of shutters? Wouldn't it be neat to do some sort of stained glass or mosaic panels inside the panes of the faux-dow?
Um, I NEED that old window! So cute!
