I found this fun tip on
Ohdeedoh for sidewalk chalk that we will be using this summer. If you soak it in water before you use it, it is smoother to use and the colors are more vibrant. My girls are going to love it! I think a new bucket of sidewalk chalk is in order.

Great tip! My son and the neighborhood kids still like to color with chalk. I'll pass this tip on to him. :)
Oh yeah, this always happens to us, because we often leave it in the rain!
