If you have never tried it, it is SO good! The name doesn't do it justice. It is actually sweet and really delicious. If you can get your hands on some, pour it over Neufchatel Cheese (or cream cheese if you have it handy) and serve it with crackers. You won't be disappointed.
I don't happen to have any on hand, so I am looking for a recipe to try and make it myself. If any of you have a good one, please let me know. I am going to give this one from Cooks.com a shot. Or this one from RecipeZaar. Or I might just try to be patient and order some.

I have never tried this but I think I'm gonna have to get me some!!!
I am a TOTAL SUCKER for pepper & onion relish!! I could eat it by the spoonfuls! I actually sell a great one now by Tastefully Simple, but, fyi, the Archer Farms brand at Target has a yummy one, too.
This is my ABSOLUTE favorite indulgence!!! I cannot get it in Japan and my mom sends it from NY, but if you add 8 oz non-fat cream cheese with half a jar of pepper and onion relish - it makes a FANTASTIC dip (we eat it with tortilla chips!)
This dip is called "crack dip" in our family, because you CANNOT stop... i swear... TRY TO!!
Skip to my Lou had a recipe for this on her blog shortly before Christmas. I am embarrassed by how much of this I ate last year! But it has vegetables in it, so it's o.k.!
The recipe that is posted on Skip to my Lou is divine. My brother-in-law even told me that he would make me regret making it. The link is listed below:

I get nervous when we run out of the Harry and David's Pepper Jelly. I mix a half jar with an 8 oz. of cream cheese. It's my "Oh company is here and a I don't have a plan so stall them with the pink dip and tortilla chips..."
We love it!
Oh I would love for you to give it a try and tell me what you think

I love it! I mix 1/2 of the 1/2 pint jar with 1 brick of cream cheese and serve with corn chip dippers. YUM!
I hope you enjoy!
