Go and get a book about the Civil War. One with pictures. 
(or any other 19th Century book with portraits). Copy them and mount them on black foam board. Then cover them with spooky webs and surround them with candlesticks and an old candelabra or two.

Oooohhhh, I love it! Problem is my mantle can look like that without any of the "storebought" spider webs! LOL.

oooooooooooo i'm doing that!!! I've already started looking on line for some portraits....they are all so creepy. The kids are the worst....totallly, "are you mad? I am your daughter"
