Mini Watermelons

These fun mini watermelons from Chocolate On My Cranium are made by cutting a lime in half and scooping out the contents, then letting your jello set inside before slicing:

She even used mini chocolate chips for the 'seeds', but I think they are cute without the seeds (and honestly the thought of chocolate in my Jello wigs me out a little!

Although they would look like mini watermelons, I think this is a cute idea for any citrus fruit! You could put orange Jello inside an orange peel and slice it up! Lots of summer fun!

There is also one using a melon--I think it's from kraft foods. But this one would be great for kids--so little--so cute!

What a great idea and it may finally get my kids eating jello! Chocolate chips would be an added bonus :).

I love this idea! I would love to use it for a girl party, oranges and pink jello. Too bad it is inappropriate to spike the jello.
