Bare Board Books

Nicole at Our Cozy Nest posted a picture of these board books:

She used them to make cute little scrapbooks, but I think I am going to pick some up for the kids to make their own stories this summer. She bought them from Bare Books. There are a ton of books on their site to choose from. Regular books and chunky board books. So many choices for your future authors and illustrators.

If your little one has outgrown their board books, you can coat them with some white spray paint and you have a clean slate for them to make their own book.

You can check out Lovely Design for the how to on these cute DIY books too:

I love to buy the kids board books at the $ store than I cover them with paper and decorate, I have made plain ones for my kiddos to decorate & write in they are cheap, easy and fun! I have an example of one on my blog :)

I have to tell you... I saw on someones blog {can't remember where} they buy board books from garage sales and Goodwill, and apparently you can peel the page off and recover with scrap paper... AWESOME cheapness!!
