Today I think we are going to give the kids each on of these:

and one of these:

and take them out to stimulate the economy a little! Bwahahaha!!
There will be some Presidential trivia at lunch. And possibly some pancakes that are in the shape of Abraham Lincolns hat with the help of a strip of bacon.
What are your plans for the day?

Great post!! I am unfortuneately ....working!! Have a good day off!
Eating egg beaters and going to the tanning bed. Just like our forefathers would have done. What?
Angi, I hope you are at least taking some leftover Valentine's chocolate with you to work!
Deb, Washington would have been really good looking with a tan!
I never thought of celebrating President's Day this way -- I wonder if I can convince my husband it's what we need to do? Thanks for the chuckle!
What...we're supposed to celebrate this holiday too??? Sheesh then where are the president shaped chocolates...if this holiday wants me to celebrate it...it better include CHOCOLATE!
You are such a patriot! I love it!
Nikki, how about some red white and blue M&Ms!!
I celebrate any day that I get to sleep in instead of dragging my self out of bed to get everyone ready, to school and to the gym!
My gym is closed today! I love holidays when the gym is closed!
I think you are about the cutest mom I have ever met! I am glad I am getting all the good ideas when my first child is still a baby!!
I possibly plan on doing nothing.
I am still recovering from all the Valentine's Day love! And taking down decorations... But I like the thought of stimulating the economy even more!
We are all sick today...perhaps a tad bit too much candy?!?! Have a fabulous time shopping...don't get over stimulated, though!
Alisa, Thanks. But there are plenty of times I am NOT the cutest mom! I just try to be as fun as I can when I can to make up for all of those other time! ;D
Kristina, that is also a great way to celebrate Presidents Day. Because if we were under the rule of a dictator I bet we wouldn't be allowed to do that! ;D
Great idea! Have fun "stimulating the economy!"
Can't wait to try that sugar cookie recipe, either!
