If you want to make heart shaped cupcakes but don't want to spend the money for a shaped pan, here is a trick from Family Fun.
Fill the regular round cupcake papers with batter and then place a small marble between each liner and one side of the tin. This will push the paper into the batter to form the notch in the heart.
Don't have any marbles, roll up some aluminum foil into a ball and use that!

Oooh, that makes me hungry for some cupcakes! Great tip. I'm off to bake.
Popped over from Mormon Mommy Bloggers.
That is freaking GENIUS. I am a bit freaked out by the silicone bakeware, sure that in a year or so they are going to come back and say that I am now growing a third leg because of baking in plastic. So I am allllll over this.
Cuh-yuuute! that's of course assuming I have paper cup cake liners, which I never have...
eatsandtreats! You are so funny! That is how I feel about the Magic Eraser! It just is too good to be true, so it is going to kill us all!!
Amie, I buy plain white cupcake liners in bulk from a restaurant supply place so that I always have some on hand!
Great tip! I would have never come up with that.
Nikki, Family Fun is the best! The website AND the magazine! If you have kids I HIGHLY recommend it!

Thanks for stopping by my place, BTW. I'm gonna have to try the Kraft Mac with cream next time I have a Mac Attack.

Now I feel some baking coming on.
What a great idea! and I love that you buy your cupcake liners from a restaurant supply place!
