Giving the Gift of Cash

I always end up giving my older nieces and nephews (teenagers) money for Christmas. I try to be fun about it. Making a chain out of $1 bills. Tying ribbons around it and hiding it in the tree. One year my nephew got a box of dimes. I worked at a bank and bought a box from the merchant teller.

This year I am going to use this idea and wrap my rolled coins to look like candy!

This is a great idea. We always give everyone gift cards. It's what they want. I know some people think that they are thoughtless gifts but I would rather give that than something they don't want and have to take back.

I think I just had a small heart attack. Your nieces and nephews are now TEENAGERS?!?!?!?! You surely can't be talking about those darling little children that I remember from your house...

Tink - I love photography too, but those are SO not my pictures. The picture credits are always in the post. Either under the picture or linked in the post somewhere!!

Kelly - on my side of the family we do (because there are not that many and we only do presents for the kids) and on hubbys side of the family the kids switch names, but since there are only 7 cousins and 3 of them belong to me, we end up buying a present for almost everyone. (There is only one we are not buying for and that just seems silly...so we might have to buy C something toO!

I'm sorry, but that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I don't mean to call you a liar, but, seriously, you're lying, right? I think I just aged 10 years...
