Autumn Paperbag Luminaries

These Autumn Luminaries from Martha are made by using s a stencil and spraying paper bags with watered down acrylic paint. I am sure that you could use a similar method with a stamp pad and a stipple brush.

And I think they are a great way to keep kids busy (and out of the kitchen while there are too many pots on the stove) on Thanksgiving day.

And I am pretty sure we can find a way to reuse this idea come Christmas time. Paper snowflakes anyone?
