Grrr!! I went to the store yesterday and bought everything I would need to do my baking today and tomorrow. I read through all of the ingredient lists. Bought everything.
But I didn't read the RECIPE! I didn't read that I would need a candy thermometer. I don't HAVE a candy thermometer. I don't want to get in my car and use $4 a gallon gas to drive and get a candy thermometer when I should have gotten one yesterday!
*sigh*
Lesson learned! Read the WHOLE recipe!!

um, your picture is of a meat thermometer. A candy thermometer looks like a glass tube. Just so ya know! Love your blog! I am reading it all backwards!
