How To Save Time Grocery Shopping [Walmart Free Online Grocery Pick Up]

I am not someone who dislikes grocery shopping and I don't even mind taking my 3-year-old son with me.  Grocery shopping is a great way to teach colors and shapes and practice counting.  But grocery shopping without kids is a different story.  My youngest only goes to preschool a few hours a week and I can think of a million other things I would rather do with that kid free time.  So recently, while my four kids were all at school, I tried something new.  After I dropped Owen off at preschool I went to Walmart to pick up my first Online Grocery order.  Not only did I get to stay in my car, but the team member loaded my car for me.  Then I drove home, put the groceries away, and just like that I had an extra hour in my day.  It was more than just time saving, it was time transforming!!   I used that hour to catch up with some friends!  Definitely more fun than standing in line to check out.

If you have kids that hate being in the grocery store, you need to try free grocery pickup from Walmart's Online Grocery.  If you dread heading to the grocery store after a long day at work, you need to try free grocery pickup from Walmart's Online Grocery.  Have a husband who offers to do the grocery shopping for you but comes back missing half of the stuff from your list?   Stuck at home with sick kids?  Just hate grocery shopping with the burning passion of a thousand suns?   Walmart's Online Grocery Pickup is your solution.

The whole process, start to finish, is so easy.  Head to Walmart's Online Grocery and enter your zip code to get started. You can shop your favorites, browse sections, or just search for a specific item by name.

Once you have added an item to your cart, it is clear that it has been added and you can adjust the quantity easily.  No accidentally ordering double or needing to go to the shopping cart to see if you already ordered the loaf of bread.

It is easy to adjust quantities and remove items from your cart right before check out as well.  You can easily remove some of those impulse items you threw in your cart without having to walk all the way back to the cookie aisle.

After checkout, you can choose if you will accept substitutions for each item.  They guarantee to match everything with a like or better item.

And then you pick the date and time you would like to pick up your groceries by selecting one of the hour long windows.  Just like that your grocery shopping is done.  Easy as pie!! (Which by the way you could order online.)

You will then receive an email with your pickup instructions.  It will include a map of the pickup location, but the stores are very clearly marked.

They will call you about 15 minutes before your pick up time to confirm your order is ready.  If you call then back 10 minutes before you arrive they will have it all packed in the wagon and ready to bring out to you.  It took less than 2 minutes for mine to appear car side. Not even enough time to browse Instagram.

They showed me all of my produce to make sure I was happy with the selection, told me about any  substitutions (I had none), and then they checked my ID and loaded the bags into the back of my car.

I was worried that online orders wouldn't be eligible for Walmart Savings Catcher, so when I received my email receipt I was happy to see the Savings Catcher TC number included.   Grocery shopping made easy and at a guaranteed low price.  I really don't see how you can beat that!

When you are ready to place your first order, make sure to use the code REALEASY to receive $10 off your $50 order.  And happy shopping (in your pajamas)!
