No Sew Fabric Pumpkin

5 Minute Pumpkins from Family Chic


I have been in love with the idea of having a mantel full of velvet pumpkins ever since I saw this post over on Holly's blog in 2009.


She has a great tutorial on her blog, but I really don't get the sewing machine out unless I really have to or someone fun is here persuading me too.  So until someone wants to have a craft day where we make them, I am going to be fabric pumpkin-less.

Or maybe not.

Family Chic has a tutorial for these 5 minute pumpkins.



No sewing required.  Just some cutting and a few rubber bands.  Now I just have to find some good sticks!

    Lorie...I am so right there with you on the minimal sewing gig! This is awesome...love all your little finds. :)

    I really like sewing...I just am not very good at it so it takes an entire day! :P If I don't have someone to keep me company all day it just doesn't seem worth it!
