Easter Egg Bunting

Easter Egg Bunting from Flax and Twine

Anne upcycled some empty cereal boxes and scrap fabric into this gorgeous Easter Egg Bunting.

I have about a hundred times more experience sewing on paper than I do fabric.  Back in my hard core scrapbooking days I wanted to stitch on layouts and didn't have a sewing machine.  So I borrowed one of my grandmothers and she told me I could keep it as long as I would use it.  It is the sewing machine I still have (and can't sew ruffles with) today.

Moral of the story is that I actually think it is a hundred times easier to stitch on thick paper (like that from a cereal box) than it is to sew fabric, so even if you aren't a sewer you can pull this off if you have a machine ore know someone that won't look at you like you are crazy if you ask them to borrow theirs to sew on some old cereal boxes.

Good luck with that.
