It is definitely unique, but I am estimating that there are 144 nickels in a square foot, (12x12) and that would make the cost of the nickels alone $7.20 a square foot. Not the cheapest bathroom flooring around!

DIY Nickel Floor

I've heard of penny tile, but I don't think this is what they meant. :)
