Chalkboard Table

I have featured a lot of chalkboard projects on this blog.  They probably deserve their own label.  Some have been really cute and easy (plates) and some have been outrageous (the refrigerator) but I don't think any have made more sense than this one I found on Ohdeedoh:


A craft table for kids!

I don't think any playroom is complete without one!

    I have a LACK (ikea) end table that got left outside in the rain (d'oh!) The paint started to bubble...so I have this grand plan to paint it with paint board chalk. Of course, it will still be bubbly, as my husband pointed out. Kill joy. ;-)

    it might not be so bubbly if you sand it down? i don't really know. but i love ikea! :)

    I have seen these in a library--keep the kids busy while I was looking for books--They kept a box of wet wipes near by--to clean up the table and the kids!

    I have always wanted to have something like that first for myself when I was a kid and now for my own kids. This is perfect, kids are not running around and drawing on everything.
