I actually DO make macarons (one 'o' for this kind). They are a pain in the butt to make but so very, very pretty. I haven't tried doing a swirly one though. I've also seen a tie dye version that's pretty cool.
Cynthia, I had no idea there was only one 'o'. I just assumed it would be spelled like a coconut macaroon. Thanks for teaching me something new today! ;D
