Up Cake

Today it is cold and overcast and a little stormy, so we are cuddling on the couch tonight and watching Up.

And if any of my kids had a birthday coming up (which thankfully they don't) I think I would have to talk them into an up birthday cake:

I would cover the cupcakes in fondant instead of frosting though...more balloon like.

    So sweet! I've STILL never attempted fondant. Something about waiting until the last minute...yeah.

    I loved that movie, once I got over the beginning :). Especially the talking dogs. That's an adorable cake idea. Hope the sun returns soon :).
