I am kidding, but only a little.
Missy from SYHO Customs just listed a ton of her cute Christmas items. And to celebrate, she wants to give a $25 gift certificate to one of my readers. You can use the gift certificate in her Etsy shop:

You could use it on anything you like, but if I were you I would use it towards the purchase of one of her cute stockings:
Or if you are crafty, she sells the patterns so you can make your own set! Go check out her store and come back and tell me what you would buy with your gift certificate. That is all you have to do to enter the giveaway.

You can enter until the end of the day Tuesday, October 12, 2009. (By end of the day I mean 11:59 pm in Arizona...we don't observe daylight savings time so I really can't tell you what time that is where you are! ;D)
Good luck! I will pick the winner using a random number generator and I will post the winner next Wednesday!
How awesome do her craft look! I love the details, and would love to win! Thanks
ReplyDeleteDefinetly one of her stockings!
ReplyDeleteYayyyy count me in
The pink minky looks so nice and warm!
ReplyDeleteAwesome crafter! I found a dozen things, but my favorites are the Western heart ornaments. And then I might have to buy a pattern (win or not) to make some of my own. Cute cute CUTE! -Tammy
ReplyDeleteI would love anyone of those stockings. I <3 them.
ReplyDeleteOk... entry #2. My Christmas stocking is not exciting. It's a long, red, *stretchy* (important for lotsa goodies!) stocking with red white & green horizontal stripes. -Tammy
ReplyDeleteAt my mom's house I use the same Christmas stocking that I used as little girl. I love it. It's red and green plaid with a little red pocket on the front of the stocking. I vividly remember finding my New Kids on the Block tickets in the pocket when I was in the 7th grade. At my house my stocking is purple with white fuzzy trim.
ReplyDeleteStockings are actually my favorite part of Christmas.
I would definitly pick one of her stockings. I have stockings all over my house at Christmas. I simplt adore the If Dr. Seuss had a Christmas Stocking design.
ReplyDeleteThe pink minky looks so nice and warm

I'd either pick one of the cute stockings or the love birds. :)
ReplyDeleteI would go with a couple of sets of the "white prim at heart" ornaments...really pretty!
ReplyDeleteOur stockings are pretty, velvety maroon and gold...and they were really cheap, after christmas sale at walmart a few years ago
ReplyDeleteI would pick the flock of love birds. They would look pretty on a small Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteMy stocking is pink with tassels. It's pretty.
ReplyDeleteJust love the flock of birds! ...and the stockings ...and everything :)
ReplyDeleteI would totally get the Dr. Seuss stocking. We Christmas tree every year is inspired by Doctor Seuss. This would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteMy current stocking is ruby red with white fur trim and gold embroidery on the front.

I like the boys minky blanket. I heart minky!!
ReplyDeleteFor another entry, I'll tell about my stocking. My (and DH's) stocking was made by my best friend as a wedding gift. We were a November wedding, so that was a perfect gift!
ReplyDeleteokay so I LOVE the pink minky. she's very talented!

ReplyDeleteMy Christmas stocking is red, with a few snowmen on it. I made it myself last year (after getting a sewing machine for Christmas the year before) and my sewing machine pooped out on me half way through the family's stockings! So I had to sew mine up by hand. (even more adorable) .. can you sense my sarcasim :) I'm not very crafty. so a gift card to her shop would be wonderful:) thanks for the chance!
& one more. because three seems luckier to me than 2.

Oooh...I'm pretty sure I'd have to go for the PATTERN for those fabu little stockings!!
ReplyDeleteNot at all Christmas related but I would get the baby bunting and bonnet. I'm not expecting but I hope to be soon and how great would that be to bring the baby home from the hospital! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteFor another entry. I had the cutest stocking growing up. It was red with a white bear on the top. Sadly when I was a teenager my dad forgot to remove the stockings from the mantle before starting a fire and it was burnt pretty badly. To this day I've never replaced it.
ReplyDeleteokay right off, i liked that dr suess stocking. what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteOh my! She has such sweet items for sale! I love the stockings, but they are a little out of my price range. I really fell in love with the ornaments that she offers, so if I won the gift certificate, I would get the Bright Christmas Stripes Heart Ornaments. I would also get the Christmas Stocking Pattern Elf Toe Hard Copy so that I could try my own hand at it with the fabric I already have.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity!

My current Christmas stocking is a standard, Dollar Tree stocking that I used glitter glue to write my name on. It is pretty boring, so I would like something that is a little more jazzed up!

I would buy the Twin stocking set in pink (pointy toes). I've got teenage twin sisters that would love them!
ReplyDeleteSecond entry:
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas stocking is one of those cheap fuzzy red and white ones from the dollar store. When my daughter was very little and I was still a single mom, we bought those stockings and decorated them with glitter and our names.
They may be cheap and corny looking, but I love the memory of us decorating our stocking together, even when money was tight. She has other stockings now, but I hang those old ones up every year!
I would love to make a stocking this year for my new baby but knowing how busy the Christmas season is, I'd probably buy one if I won!
ReplyDeleteI got my Christmas stocking from a downeast tent sale for $1. I love it, it's originally from Pottery barn and it says MOM on it.
ReplyDeleteI love the If Dr.Suess Had a Christmas Stocking...
ReplyDeleteI love the heart ornaments! Especially shabby romance and the red christmas ones - so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great feedback ya'll. More Flock of Birds (as the ones I had listed sold) and more Dr. Suess stockings. I love the Dr. Suess.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to Lori for hosting the giveaway! Lori has the best stuff.

ReplyDeleteMy Mom made Christmas stockings for all the kids grands and great grands a few years ago.. over 40 in all just Christmas fabric sewn and embellished they are not much but Grams, Mom, who's hands don't work well, made them lovingly.
ReplyDeleteShe has so many things for sale it is hard to decide but the heart shaped ornaments would be lovely on my tree with hand crafted ornaments.
