Minus the black eyes of course, those were painted on by the people of BHG. I have never seen a white gourd like this, but if you have and you haven't made them into ghosts then all I can say is shame on you! But I will forgive you if you can tell me the name of the gourd so that I can beg the produce guy to get some in for me!
Spoooky! :-)

ReplyDeleteAfter some internet sleuthing, I think I've found out what they are! Crown of Thorns Gourds.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen them in all white but I've seen them in orange and green. Maybe they painted them?

I saw one of these at my local fair on the weekend and noted the official name. Hungarian finger squash. Or Hungarian finger fruit. Google images and you will see a ton of pics. :)
