Framing Picture Collections

I have a feeling that frames, or at least different uses for frames, may end up giving chalkboards a run for their money. Of course you can frame chalkboards and then you have the best of both worlds.

But lately I have seen a ton of ideas, some new and some not, for using frames in unique ways. This one from Curious Sofa has a lot of potential in my book:

Instead of framing the individual photos, they pinned them to the wall and framed the collection of photos.

Right now I am making the purring tongue twirling sound that I make when I find something that I REALLY like. Unfortunately I haven't found the right combinations of letters to type that sound out.

But you get the picture. No pun intended!

  1. That looks so lovely! I want that particular frame too, the carving on it is gorgeous.

  2. This is such a cool idea! I decided to use an old window I recently got to hold old pictures. First, I taped them to scrap book paper and put them on each pane of the window. I don't know if I'll keep it like this, but it was a quick solution to "what do I do with this window?".
