French Flea Market

I saw this picture on The Shabby Nest:

I have not words. I can only sigh. The mantel head board. *sigh* The old door base. *sigh* The old window frames. Double *sigh*

    I wonder what it's really like to live with something so chipped like that; does it fall off on your pillows? Is it safe? It's gorgeous, obviously, but is it really livable?

    I love it....I would have to be a single gal to have a bed room like that....would never fly with the hubster. I use to have my own girly room but when the kids all moved out we got a smaller house with a loft, the loft was suppose to be my craft/girly room and my youngest moved back in...! Now I have to wait for him to either fall in love and move out or I hit the lottery so I can have a house with a room to call my own again......I probably have a better chance at hitting the lottery.

    That is gorgeous. I have a similar mantel in my front room, but never thought of using it for a headboard.
