Bedside Table

See the bedside table in this photo from Southern Living:


Just a regular side table covered in fabric...but guess what is underneath that fabric.

A garbage can. Can you believe it? Not only is it an inexpensive way to make a side table, but you can use it to store blankets or sweaters during the off season.

  6. That is funny, my mom has a garbage can table just like that. It has old jeans in it. Great idea anyway!

  7. What a great idea. I saw something similar on a food storage blog. Instead of a garbage can, they had a drum holding emergency water and covered it up as a bedside table. I thought that was genius. It's hard to find somewhere to store those plastic water drums.
