  3. It was just a normal day for us. Back to work. Unfortunately both of the hospitals that we work at do not recognize Easter as a holiday.

  4. Happy Easter! I hope you had a fabulous day!

Our Easter was a little untraditional this year, but we were just happy to be spending it together. My fave part? Watching the dumplins find the eggs we hid all over the house and then sneaking their chocolate. I mean come on, I'm not going to let them eat it all! They would make me crazy! LOL

And I'm gonna go with our weather here as being the best thing about today. Totally beautiful.

  9. Happy Easter! My favorite part of today was stuffing myself so full of ham, potatoes, and jello that I couldn't move, and then my kids having a no-nap, too much candy breakdown allowing me to go home getting me out of doing the dishes!

  10. My favorite part was when my grandson called to say Happy Easter. He told us about all the good things he got, he loves chocolate, so he was loving the chocolate bunny. He is so cute, he starts soccer practice tomorrow, he signed up for Kindergarten and he started swim lessons. Quite a busy little 5 year old. I loved having ham and sweet potatoes and fresh asparagus with olive oil, kosher salt and fresh grated parmesan cheese. I sure miss my children and my grandkids on holidays. Too bad they are all 7 hours away!

  11. The highlight of my day was spending time with my parents, who are in their eighties. They are slowing down and so I try to cherish every visit with them.

  13. dressing up the kids and seeing the kids dressed up at church was my favorite this year; and I had fun doing a "teddy bear picnic" themed baskets for my boys. Pics of my kids in their Easter clothes at

  14. I guess it's a toss up between hiding the glow in the dark eggs and hiding jellybeans. The jellybeans has always been a tradition and there's always some that don't get found until we do cleaning the following week.

  16. My favorite part of Easter was all the great food, esp. potato salad, strawberry shortcake, and Reese's peanut butter eggs. Yum!
