Brownie Pops

You always see the cute cake pops floating around, but I really like the version made with Oreos. (I call them Oreo truffles, but I am sure they go by a million other names). You break up an entire package of Oreos and then mix in a package (8oz) of cream cheese. You make balls and dip them. Dip them in chocolate or dip them in pastel candy melts and I am pretty sure you can get them to look like these pops from William Sonoma:

Theirs are made out of brownie. I am pretty sure you can get the same results with a batch of brownies and a package of cream cheese. I guess I am going to have to give it a try!

  1. I've done brownies and they are easy.

Just bake your brownies and mix in a container of chocolate icing. YUMMY!!! Then dip in chocolate. DOUBLE YUMMY.

  7. Wilton makes a silicone brownie pops thingy that you bake the brownies in to get them to come out pre-shaped and perfect. No mixing with frosting then shaping- just a straight up brownie. I saw the mold/pan at Michael's.

  8. I had never even heard of Oreo truffles until a week ago. My husband came home with these glorious chocolate covered Oreo balls. His co-worker made them and they were sinful!
