But they aren't cheap. Especially if you have a dresser that needs 20! And I change my mind about what I like a lot.
But I saw this on the Shabby Nest last night and I love it! It won't work for every room, but it will be cute in the girls room:

ReplyDeleteYou totally rock! My daughter is hell on drawer knobs, I've replaced the 10 on her dresser 3 TIMES in the last 2 years! I am definitely going to try ribbon!

I used ribbons for pulls in my room when I was a kid! They do turn out cute! We've been searching new pulls for our Kitchen cabinets and I keep gasping at the price.

ReplyDeleteI love knobs and pulls too! In fact, if you want to get your fix without breaking the bank, just get one for each member of your family and attach them to a board for hanging storage. I did one this Christmas to hang our stockings from- no fireplace. I painted the words, The stockings were hung... and Voila! Cute stocking hanger. (you can see it on my Christmas blog gingerbreadandcandycanes dot blogspot dot com). All the knobs I used came from Hobby Lobby. But now I'm going for ribbon in my daughter's room I'm currently redecorating---cute idea!
