But these made me fall in love:

And this year I HAVE apothecary jars. And they are sitting on the shelf with Valentine's in them today. But I don't know how long I can wait before I spend a small fortune on jelly beans!
And The little jar with the teal/turquoise jelly beans...I sort of need that jar! Anyone have any idea where to get one?
I don't know if you could find an exact match, but check out Ross....I see them there all the time for cheap (like 4.99).
ReplyDeleteThose jellybeans would last 2 minutes at our house. Okay, maybe 5 if I put them up high ;)
Too cute! You can get lots of different organizing jars at IKEA :)
ReplyDeleteThe cupcake on the top of the page looks way too good. Now I crave cupcakes. Must.back.away.
ReplyDeleteHow cute, my husband and sons would not stay out if it though. jelly beans are their favorite.
ReplyDeleteCheck Home Goods! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful display - I'll definitely be stealing that idea. I have that exact jar - it was at our local garden supply store. It wasn't cheap, but it's such a great size/shape I had to buy it!
ReplyDeleteHere's a trick to use less jelly beans or M&Ms or whatever (I saw it on Martha)...put cans (soup cans, vegetable cans) in the middle and then put your insides over it. You won't be able to see the cans, and you don't have to shell out sooo much money for the filler.
ReplyDeleteMaybe check ebay! Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea Jenn.
ReplyDeleteBig Lots has them sometimes, and East Coast thrift stores :). Not that that helps...I agree that Ross/TJ Maxx are good for them as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm behind the apothecary jar curve too...I have a small one, but crave some pretty larger ones too!
Michael's has a great collection of jars and you can use a coupon!
ReplyDeleteooooh, what a fab display! thanks for sharing with us! Don't feel bad - - I'm just getting on the apothecary bandwagon. I'm tres cheap though, so I haven't gotten many. I did score 2 at the thrift store the other day. 25 cents and 50 cents. woo hoo!! now to load those pretties up with some jelly beans!
ReplyDeleteLove these!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to break out the spring colors!!
ReplyDeleteOur Marshall's has a TON of jars in right now in different shapes and sizes. They even have some amazing mercury glass ones that I LOVE but of course wouldn't work for your beautiful jelly beans. Can't wait to see them! :D
ReplyDeleteJenn,
ReplyDeleteI usually use crumpled up paper! The soup cans is a MUCH better idea! I have a post in process about tricks for Apothecary jars and I will have to add that one!
I like that one too. If you find it let me know.
ReplyDeleteRight now I have green M&M's in one of my jars. I took my Valentine's Day display down and have my St. Patrick's Day up. I know I'm early! LOL
I think I'll do the jelly beans for Easter. I had red cinnamon hearts in there for Valentine's Day.
Hugs,
Joanne
Oooooh! I'm gonna do that at work!
ReplyDeleteI posted a photo of my little girl in her new clippie I won on your blog! http://whitehouse3.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
mmmm...I'll just use Mason jars, if I could get the go-ahead to bring that MANY jelly beans into the house. I love jelly beans... :) Cute ideas!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! I saw some footed apothecary jars at Pottery Barn a while ago, but I'm sure you can find some at TJ Max or Marshalls.
ReplyDeleteI might have to do something like that with mine.
Thanks!
Jen
That i such a good idea! Pier 1 sells them too:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, I'm turning into a bit of a comment addict..hehe
ReplyDeleteI love the Apotehcary jars and the jelly beans in them create such a great effect but it wouldn't last long with me I have a bit of a sweet tooth :)
I think I will have to get myself an Apotehcary jar there is so much you can do with them.
It's nice to meet you!
God bless
Melly:)
I actually bought several tall (12 Inches) thin (3 inches diameter) vases at the Goodwill. You could also buy the tall square ones. They were 1.99 / peice and I put colorful seasonal candy in them, right now they are pink, white and red M&Ms, dove chocolates in red and pink and pink wrapped lifesavers.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure where you live, but where I live one of our good local grocery stores carries bulk candies. Super Target also carries the Jelly Belly beans in individual colors.
I've seen a ton of them at Home Goods right now... or I KNOW for sure they are at Pottery Barn! wink-wink!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea! I wonder how they got that egg to say in the middle...that is so cool. Can't wait to see your jars! lol
ReplyDeleteI don't even have a jar, but they look so cute! It is hard not to want one. I think I am going to check them out, they make adorable decorations.
ReplyDeleteI have a Jar "problem"... I don't think its a problem tho! My Family well, yeah whole other story~ I have been picking up old gum ball machines at auctions and second hand stores... Oh My They are amazing..... Except we fill them w/ bouncy balls.. Jellybeans would disappear too fast!
ReplyDeleteSooo cute. We have a store here called Tai Pan Trading. It's supposedly "wholesale" prices on home decore. They have a big selection of these types of jars. I don't know if they're a national company or not, but you could look them up!
ReplyDeletebetter late than never. those look beautiful
ReplyDeleteXazmin,
ReplyDeleteTai Pan is only in Utah and there is one in CA. When we were in CA a couple of months ago we were going to stop. Had a coupon for $10 off...we got lost, then Lou La spilled an entire bottle of cranberry juice in the car. Then we got lost again.
Needless to say it didn't happen and I many never know the joy that is Tai Pan Trading!
