Country Living has some beautiful and easy table decorations for Thanksgiving. And although they always have great ideas, I love these because they are all cheap, quick, and beautiful.

I like the tablecloth and the Indian corn, but I love the simple wooden bowls full of nuts that they used as a candle holder.

Take some of the glass around your house, a hurricane, a nice bowl, or apothecary jars and fill them with fall items. Leaves, acorns, nuts and cranberries will make beautiful table displays.

I don't think it gets much easier than this. A Fall leaf on a plate. And definitely an assignment that you can give to the younger crowd!
Strips of paper with handwritten quotes or phrases are fastened at the end with double-sided tape. You can even have your guests read the quotes aloud as part of your Thanksgiving dinner celebration.
Use a nice vase to arrange fall foliage. Another inexpensive and festive way to decorate for Thanksgiving.
I love the tablecloth in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteSo do I! I wish I knew where to find it!
ReplyDeleteStopping by to say hi. You commented above me on SITS. Love these ideas!
ReplyDeleteThat tabelcloth is so pretty! Man, I wish I had a good embroidery machine.
ReplyDeleteI also saw a tablesetting using clear plates and fall leaves underneath showing through. Very simple, but nice.
Love it all!!!! Oh and I just saw what Renee said about clear plates. Remember I said I would do something like that because I have the large clear plates and the smaller clear plates and I want to do something that shows through from the bottom. So, if you see anything pass it on.
ReplyDeleteGood idea with the leaves!
ReplyDeletei wish we had pretty leaves like that in AZ though!
