Martha has the recipe for cinnamon/gingerbread ornaments on her site. I watched my neighbor make these at a craft activity at church last month. They smell yummy and are SUPER easy! (and you get to use your cookie cutters!!! which I am not making a new label on my blog!!)
You use ground cinnamon (1 cup), applesauce (1/4 cup) and craft glue (1/2 cup)! It is crazy! I am not sure if this is the same 'recipe' they used at the craft day, but I know it is similar!
Are you going to make these next week like me? What are you doing today to get ready for Thanksgiving!!
I use this recipe and I love it! I have made so many gingerbread ornaments from it. It makes your house smell so yummy and Christmasy!
ReplyDeleteI just did these last week. I used about 1 part each cinnamon and applesauce, slightly more cinnamon. No glue. They were great. I'm hanging them on my tree, but I've thought of all kinds of great ways you could use them.
ReplyDeleteHi Lorie, Thanks for your visit. I love the cinnamon ornaments and I think I'll make some next week when things are a little calmer around here. Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteDo you ladies have pictures of them on your blog? If not you NEED to and put the link in your comments!!
