DIY Magazine Rack from This Old House
This Old House has a tutorial for what might be the prettiest magazine rack I have ever seen. They used decorative brackets and the tutorial is E-A-S-Y! You don't even need the tools they use, just a hammer and nails. The guys at Home Depot will cut the wood for you if you don't have a saw.
This would be a beautiful way to organize all of the girls coloring books and it could sit out right on their desk...one I actually finish the desk.
