We have spent every summer of my kids lives in the pool. We were lucky enough to live close to my mother-in-law that had a pool and she was nice enough to let us use it whenever we wanted. In fact she used to tell us we didn't use it enough.
I used to lug all of our towels and swim gear back and forth in a laundry basket. They would put their swim suits on, grab their towels, and throw their clothes in the laundry basket. It worked well, but mostly I used it because it was the only thing big enough to hold 5 beach towels, swim suits, sunscreen, swim diapers, water toys, and anything else that needed to be lugged with us.
Des from DESIgns obviously lugs the same amount of stuff with her, because she posted a tutorial for this super large summer bag:
The fabric is really darn cute too, but when I say this bag is large, I mean large:
That should hold my beach towels! If you need this tutorial as much as I do, you can check it out HERE.
